Equine Dentistry
Due to recent demand, Elemental Veterinary Services has partnered with Elite Equine Dentistry to provide high quality equine dental care to California. A balanced horse mouth improves their comfort and ability to process feeds.
Elemental Veterinary Services and Elite Equine Dentistry is equipped with a state of the art dental trailer to provide on location services. A pre-anesthetic examination is performed on every horse before they are sedated and loaded into the trailer. Once in the trailer, a complete dental examination is performed using a speculum. By using a speculum to open the horse's mouth, we are able to fully visualize each tooth and identify all areas of concern. We utilize equipment such as an oral endoscope and radiographs (x-rays) to diagnose many oral conditions.

Where are dental clinics held?

Owners/organizers are responsible for hosting a location. We ask that locations provide access to electricity and water. Our dental trailer is about 30 feet and will need adequate space to enter and exit the property.

Follow our social media for information regarding clinics that are open for you to trailer your horse. Note that space is limited and on site horses are given priority.

Do you offer additional services such as vaccines or Coggin's testing?

Additional services are provided on a case-by-case basis as time allows. Advanced notice is required and a comprehensive examination will be required.

**Prices are subject to change without notice. A routine balance/float ranges from $300-400 depending on the procedure and amount of sedation required.**
